About Us

We are a Nonprofit 501(c)(3) family friendly theater company offering performance opportunities for all ages, kids and adults. You can choose to do virtual or in person performances. Our company was founded to ensure that there is a space for those who want to perform without judgment or pressure from others. During a time when everything was shut down, we did our best to stay open and create unique opportunities to keep people from losing their motivation. If you ever want to be involved in a show, consider auditioning and we welcome all performers no matter what level you are!

Empower. Inspire. Educate

Mission Statement

This company is meant to be an alternative to the mainstream theater industry, where you can choose to do theater without the need to pursue a career in it. When people perform with us, they expect the experience to be low stress, wholesome, casual, but professional, and educational with lots of fun. The focus is more on the process of learning in an encouraging environment rather than the final product. Therefore, we make sure all staff and volunteer candidates are thoroughly interviewed to make sure their values align with ours to provide a friendly atmosphere. We believe that performers need a safe space to express themselves and to be free from stifling treatments. Values such as hard work, kindness, responsibility, teamwork, and professionalism are encouraged when working with us. We welcome experienced performers and those who are exploring theater for the first time to participate in our company. Since we aim to have all levels of performers, we will teach theater etiquette, stage directions, audition tips, acting advice, music, choreography, and more during rehearsals. Our goal is to make sure you enjoy what you do, raise your standards, have pride in what you do, and bring back that passion into your life. For our patrons, we aim to provide quality performances and enrichment to the community.

Tina is a professional singer, actress, dancer, and voice teacher based in Southern California. With a BA in English Literature from UC Los Angeles, she also studied at NYU CAP21 Musical Theater Intensive Conservatory in 2011. Her past show credits include A Chorus Line as Connie Wong at Sierra Repertory Theater, Legally Blonde, Annie Get Your Gun, and The Wizard of Oz at the Candlelight Pavilion Dinner Theater, Thoroughly Modern Millie at Performance Riverside, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at 3-D Theatricals, The Who's Tommy at East West Players, and more.  Some theme parks she has performed at are Disneyland as a special events performer and Legoland as a dancer for the show called Monster Jam. Her management experience comes from being a director for an afterschool program called Champion Village and a director for a dance studio called Creation Station Dance in the past. Now, she is officially the Founder and Artistic Director of Performance and Fun. When she is not teaching her voice students, she is diligently working on the next show or project for this theater. After many years of performing on stage, she has decided to create her own theater, where everyone is welcome to come and enjoy the arts in a friendly and encouraging environment.

Her goal is to bring her professional standards into a community theater to help those who want to better themselves as performers but have no other place to go to do that. By making sure all aspects of the theater are running smoothly and organized, she would like to show that anyone is capable of being professional even if you don't want to pursue a career in it. Singing and dancing should be something that is joyful and bring fun into your life. By raising the bar for a community theater, everyone gets a chance to improve their skills and expand their creativity. She is excited for the future of Performance and Fun Community Theater where she can create a place for all types of performers.
